Privacy policy
Effective October 29, 2026
Automatic Pocket doesn't collect, send or sell any information about you. There's no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app doesn't connect to the internet.
The microphone
The app uses the microphone only while a session, a mic check or a calibration is running, to hear the notes you play or the calibration clicks. The sound is analysed on your device as it comes in. It isn't sent anywhere, and it isn't saved unless you turn on session recordings.
Session recordings
Recordings are off unless you turn on Keep session recordings in Audio setup. When it's on, the app saves what the mic heard during each session and how it scored it, on your device only. It keeps the last 20 and deletes older ones. A recording leaves your device only if you share it yourself from the results screen.
What's stored on your device
Everything the app keeps (your scores, settings, headphone calibrations, and recordings if you turned them on) is stored on your device. If your device backs up to iCloud or a computer, that data goes into the backup like any other app's; Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud. Deleting the app deletes it all from the device.
Children
The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
